Indila, Sandra top Bucharest’s December concerts

December brings a bunch of musical events to Bucharest metropolitans, ranging from traditional Christmas concerts to long-expected gigs performed by famous Romanian and foreign artists.

Sandra is coming back to Romania next to her musicians group selected from all around de world. The concert takes place at Sala Palatului, at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2.

Another beloved female performer, representing this time the young generation of artists is Indila (photo). She comes to Romania for the first time on December 7, being expected to perform twice in the same day; the first performance is due starting 4 p.m., the second starting 7 p.m.

Romanian Stefan B?nic? will perform his Christmas concerts in Bucharest, for the 13th year in a row. Performances are due on December 12, 13 and 14, staring 19.30 at Sala Palatului.

Madrigal Choir also performs its well-established Christmas shows at Romanian Athenaeum on December 14. Madrigal National Chamber Choir- Marin Constantin, conducted by Anna Ungureanu will delight Bucharest audience with the traditional carols performed for the last 51 years in two special concerts, one at 17.30, the other one at 20.00.

Folk singer Stefan Hru?c? returns to his native country on December 15 to perform his famous Christmas songs from Maramure?. He will perform at Sala Palatului starting 20.00. Johann Strauss Ensemble will also perform at Sala Palatului two days later, from eight o’clock in the evening.

Romanian pan flute musician Gheorghe Zamfir brings his special guests to Sala Palatului in an exclusive show due on December 18.

25 years since the fall of communism is marked on December 19 in an anniversary concert performed by the Radio National Orchestra, with Tiberiu Soare as conductor and Alexandru Tomescu as soloist.

Vienna Classic Christmas revives the holly celebration marking Jesus Christ’s birth on December 20 at Sala Palatului, starting 19.30.

Famous Hungarian pianist and composer Havasi comes back to Romania on December 20 at Sala Polivalenta.

Romanian musician, actor and poet Tudor Gheorghe comes again at Sala Palatului on December 22 with a new show of “For nothing” concert, while the internationally recognized young Portuguese fado singer Ana Moura performs again in Romania, at Bucharest’ s Sala Palatului on December 28.
