The glamouros Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna returns to Bucharest next week for the most-expected Christmas performance, to be hosted at Sala Palatului on December 23, at 8 p.m.
Under the aegis of the Imperial Christmas Gala 2017, soprano Simona Eisinger, baritone Phillipe Spiegel and conductor Maestro Vinicius Kattah invite the audience for a live performance of the most enchanting waltzes that have resounded in the Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna for years.
The concert program includes: „The Bat“ – Johann Strauss; Frühlingsstimmen, Waltz op. 410 – Johann Strauss; „Heja in den Bergen“ din „The Gipsy Princess“ – Emmerich Kalman; „Gern hab ich die Frau´n geküsst“ din „Paganini“ – Franz Lehar; Hereinspaziert, Waltz op. 466 – Carl Michael Ziehrer; Tritsch Tratsch, Polka schnell op. 214 – Johann Strauss; „Lippen schweigen“ – Franz Lehar; Royal Sec – Viktor Herbert.
After a 15-minute break, spectators will also be able to listen to: Kaiserwalzer, Waltz op. 437 – Johann Strauss; „Als flotter Geist“ din „The Gipsy Baron“ – Johann Strauss; Csárdás „Fledermaus“ – Johann Strauss; „Meine Lippen sie küssen so heiß“ – Franz Lehar; Pizzicato Polka – Johann and Joseph Strauss; „Wiener Blut“ Duetto – Johann Strauss; „An der schönen, blauen Donau“, Waltz op. 314 – Johann Strauss.
Jockey Polka op. 278 – Johann Strauss and Radetzky March – Johann Strauss Father are in store for the encore.
