38-year-old Pisces, from America, but with obvious Irish and Italian origins, with an impeccable androgynous look, a combination of indie pop and alternative rock, that brought whistling on the stages all around the world, LGBTQ icon who speaks openly about the dynamics of her relationships, with songs written for Cher, Rihanna, Backstreet Boys, Leona Lewis, Mylene Farmer and Christina Aguilera and five albums released so far: Heart-Shaped Scar, Suburban Sprawl & Alcohol, Forever For Now, Lost on You and Heart To Mouth – LP, the artist with an unmistakable voice that won us over with Lost On You and made us love each song that came after, returned for the third time in Bucharest.
The first two experiences with LP confirmed that she is one of the musicians who sound even better live than in the recorded songs, but her last night’s concert, centered on the artist’s most personal album, was a moment to live on repeat, when the energies of the audience and of the came together for incredible and energetic show.
The stage at Arenele Romane was a display for the entire Heart to Mouth album, LP’s sincere manifest of love, desire, fear, insecurity, infidelity, regret and deliverance. One by one, the glowing sound of the first single, “Girls Go Wild“, the piano chords from “Recovery”, the soul-filled vocal flashes of “Die For Your Love”, the gently handled guitar and the whispered words from “One Night In The Sun”, the painful chorus of “I’m In Recovery”, and the gloomy, blues humming in “Dreamer” delighted the audience.
With exceptional cover moments – Kings of Leon, Sex on Fire and The Rolling Stones, Paint It Black, and three tracks from the iconic Lost On You album, LP’s live show was powerful and spectacular and the 3,000 spectators were verse by verse and note by note alongside the artist who conveys a multitude of feelings during a single concert.

The record label Cat Music has awarded the artist the Platinum Disc for the over 10,000 copies of the album Lost on You sold in Romania to, yet another proof that LP has an audience with which it connects through her incredibly personal music.
“I’m lucky to have an audience that understands,” she concludes. “They can see and hear that we’ve gone through a lot to get to this point and they appreciate it because everybody’s going through that, from cradle to grave I’m just here to sing about it. If you like it, great, because I like it. If not, to hell,” LP said at the release of Heart to Mouth.
Events which organised LP’s gig in Bucharest, is one of the largest event organizers in Romania, with the mission is to bring entertainment as close as possible to the people. Since 2000, their slogan is “unforgettable” and the events that will always remain in the memory of the audience include The Rolling Stones, Linkin Park, Aerosmith, Leonard Cohen, Pink Martini, Cirque du Soleil or Sensation.
