20 years after Michael Jackson’s second show in Romania, our country is the first on the map of “The Ultimate Thriller – The Michael Jackson Tribute” show scheduled in Constitutiei Square in Bucharest on July 7th.
“The Ultimate Thriller – The Michael Jackson Tribute – LIVE in Bucharest” is organized the by the pop king’s team, with tickets being already put up for sale since Tuesday.
The Michael Jackson tribute show is starting at 7 p.m., Music Management Event informs.
Therefore, Jennifer Batten (who was the Michael’s solo guitarist for ten years), LaVelle Smith Jr. (choreographer and main dances in “Dangerous”, “Bad” and “History” tours), Michael Prince (the sound engineer and the sound supervisor for concerts and TV shows), bass singer Sam Sims and the rest of the team are getting together on the same stage again, seven years of the death of the king of pop, for the tribute show which is going to blend the hits promoted in “Bad” and “Dangerous” tours.
The vocalist will be one of Michael Jackson’s imitators, who is however not revealed for the time being.
After more than two years of negotiations, Michael Jackson’s family agreed that the entire staff of the megastar should be reunited especially for the tribute in Bucharest.
The tickets ranging from RON 80 to RON 450 are available in the Eventim network.
The King of Pop first came to Romania shortly after the anti-communist uprising, in 1992 within his “Dangerous World Tour”, when his career was rife.
Michael Jackson performed the second time in Bucharest in 1996, presenting his “History” tour.
