Museum Night 2022 set on May 14

The 18th edition of the Museum Night will take place on Saturday, May 14, nationwide and offers the public exhibitions, interventions and artistic experiments, screenings, shows, workshops, concerts, interactive tours, all held in physical format, after two pandemic editions.

This year, the Museum Night events will be offered to culture lovers, young and old, from over 170 museums and memorial houses, art galleries and gardens, cultural institutes and centers, residences, creative salons and studios, memory spaces, castles , palaces, cities, mills, theaters, universities, cinemas, libraries, town halls or experimental houses across the country.

After the two online or hybrid editions (physical and online) of the pandemic, the events hosted by museums and cultural organizations will be open to visitors on the second Saturday in May, until late at night, in the good tradition of European Museum Night, with over 120 special events, at this time, set up in about 80 localities in 38 counties across the country, be they large cultural centers, cities, towns or even villages.

In Bucharest, the Museum Night tour includes so far recommendations for over 50 friendly museums and cultural entities, which have been prepared with countless artistic, fresh and interactive interventions. At this edition, Cluj-Napoca offers in the Night of Museums 13 meeting spaces with visitors, and in Iași the public can choose from 6 cultural offers registered until the transmission of this news.

The Night of Museums is one of the most appreciated cultural brands and is organized annually by the National Network of Museums in Romania (RNMR), being awaited by the public with great interest, every year.
