Bucharest Days comes up this year with tens of cultural events in Constitutiei Square and Cismigiu Park as of today, to mark 558 years since the first documentary certification of the Capital. The access of all events is free.
Friday night, the Constitutiei Square will host the extraordinary concert performed by famous Romanian soprano Angela Gheorghiu, next to the George Enescu Philharmonics and to the tenor Teodor Ilincai. Maestro Eugene Kohn from New York will conduct the concert.
The concert starts at 20:30, while access will be available as of 18:30 at the entrance gates on Libertatii Boulevard.
The access in the area with seats will be allowed in the limit of 10,000 available seats.
Saturday with Pink Martini and iMapp Bucharest
Romanian DJ Paul Damixie, internationally known for the remix of Adele’s “Hello” will open the events on Saturday, September 16, at 17:30. Famous band Pink Martini will threat the boards at 21:00, next to Storm Large. Also Saturday, the international 3D video mapping international contest- iMapp Bucharest will take place in the Constitutiei Square, with six artist teams presenting exquisite shows: MotionLab – Romania, mammasONica – Itay, EPER – Hungary, Gong Zhen – China, Flightgraf – Japan and Ouchhh Studio – Turkey. Starting 22:30, dynamic video mapping shows will animate the House of Parliament.
A marathon concert is due in Constitutiei Square at 18:00, with five hours of non-stop music: Irina Rimes, The Motans, Vunk, Voltaj, Holograf, and the show is ended by Delia & Band.
