Nominated Films for the 2025 Gopo Awards
Alice ON & OFF (dir. Isabela Tent), Anul Nou care n-a fost (dir. Bogdan Mureșanu), Moromeții 3 (dir. Stere Gulea), Nasty (dir. Tudor Giurgiu, Cristian Pascariu, Tudor D. Popescu), Săptămâna Mare (dir. Andrei Cohn), and Trei kilometri până la capătul lumii (dir. Emanuel Pârvu) are officially competing for the prestigious Gopo Award for Best Feature Film. Notably, two of the nominated films in this top category are documentaries.
The achievements of Romanian filmmakers in 2024 will be recognized at the 19th edition of the Gopo Awards Gala, set to take place on April 29 at the I.L. Caragiale National Theatre in Bucharest.
Anul Nou care n-a fost and Moromeții 3 lead the nominations, with 13 each, followed by Săptămâna Mare with 12 and Trei kilometri până la capătul lumii with 9 nominations.

Selection Juries
The Gopo Awards feature two pre-selection juries: one for feature films and another for documentary and short film categories. The feature film jury, consisting of 11 film professionals, included film critics Dana Duma and Ion Indolean, journalist Anca Vancu, directors Marian Crișan and Constantin Popescu, actress Maria Popistașu, producer Anamaria Antoci, cinematographer Ana Drăghici, film curator Bogdan Movileanu, cultural consultant Corina Șuteu, and screenwriter Florin Lăzărescu.
The documentary and short film jury comprised five industry professionals: film critics Cezar Gheorghe and Andreea Chiper, director Șerban Georgescu, producer Velvet Moraru, and film programmer Anca Păunescu.
A total of 42 feature films were considered for the Best Film nominations.
