One Night Gallery Love Kseleqoqynqyshy is a new digital art exhibition presented by One Night Gallery, which will be inaugurated at MINA – Museum of Immersive New Art in Bucharest, on October 17, 2024.

The immersive show offers a captivating visual journey through a fantasy universe, where reality intertwines with imagination, and natural motifs combine with mystical and surreal elements. KSELE’s works are often populated by fantastic animals, houses with ancient architecture and sacred symbols, all dressed in a playful style and punctuated by spiritual and mythological influences.

This project is co-financed by Bucharest City Hall through ARCUB within the “Bucharest 565. Urban Connections” 2024 program. KSELEQOQYNQYSHY is a contemporary artist from Romania, who works as an illustrator, muralist, street artist and graphic designer. His pseudonym is a coded script that stands for “Houses with Closed Eyes” and describes the elements and characters found in his works.

In the artistic discourse we will find urban motifs – more precisely elements from the Hip-Hop culture. The selection will include murals and illustrations made for the exhibition from the artist’s portfolio, which will be transformed into digital works, being animated through a collaborative process with the MINA Studios team.

The exhibition creates original visual universes and multimedia experiences addressed to the general public. Audiences will be able to explore KSELE’s signature world, where “closed eyes” are a metaphor for meditation, and motifs such as the third eye and sacred symbols become portals to unknown dimensions of the subconscious. Also, natural elements such as baobabs, ancient pines and bonsai, suggest deep connections with the sacred geometry and mathematics of nature.

One Night Gallery Love Kseleqoqynqyshy will feature an immersive audio-visual show, with existing works from the artist’s portfolio, but also a series of new works, animated especially for this edition. The characters will come to life through Augmented Reality experiences and the design installation will remain in the museum’s heritage, alongside a custom design object by the artist.

One Night Gallery is an innovative exhibition concept, dedicated to Romanian contemporary art, technology and innovation. Its  goal is to support local artists, offering them a unique platform where their creativity can be experienced through the lens of new technologies. Combining augmented reality, 3D projections and other digital tools, One Night Gallery is transforming the way audiences interact with contemporary art.
