Over 45,000 Fans Party on Day One of Bucharest’s Top Festival, Neversea Kapital
Neversea KAPITAL officially opened its gates to tens of thousands of fans eager to experience the first edition of Bucharest’s hottest new festival. The National Arena became the epicenter of excitement for more than 45,000 attendees who danced and enjoyed music from their favorite artists well into the morning hours.
Axwell, Paul Kalkbrenner, KSHMR, Claptone, and Kaaze were just a few of the names that took the stage and delivered unforgettable performances.
Several artists included Romanian tracks in their sets. Axwell remixed Rareș’s hit “Cel mai fericit de pe pământ”. KSHMR incorporated parts of “Dudadu”, the smash hit by Irina Rimes, as well as “Made in Romania”, “E mult, e greu” by Johny Romano, and “Baba Vanga” by F.Charm.
The beloved Temple Stage opened with shows by Mau P and Charlotte de Witte, two highly acclaimed techno artists.
For fans of urban culture, The Ark hosted special guests including Macanache, Petre Ștefan, Azteca, Albert NBN, and Puya—who drew thousands to his stage as the crowd sang along to his famous hits. Cabral (DJ Cabi) and DJ Antenna closed the night at The Ark.
Also at the festival, a lucky group of fans enjoyed a surprise retro-themed party hosted by Andreea Esca and Otravă, who brought a nostalgic vibe to the evening.
Festivalgoers arriving today are encouraged by organizers to check in online and arrive before 7:00 PM to avoid potential congestion.
KAPITAL, Bucharest’s most exciting festival, continues today with performances from Salvatore Ganacci, Don Diablo, R3hab, Sickick, Deborah De Luca, Nina Kraviz, as well as Erika Isac, M.G.L., CTC, and IAN.
Organizers have opened registration for the 2026 edition of KAPITAL at http://neversea.com. On Sunday, July 6, general admission passes go on sale for just €69 plus taxes (final price €169 + taxes), and VIP passes for €139 + taxes (final price €299 + taxes).
KAPITAL marks the first major event organized by UNTOLD Universe in Romania’s capital, as the group also prepares for the 10th anniversary edition of the mega-festival UNTOLD in Cluj-Napoca, and the second edition of the largest festival ever held in the UAE—UNTOLD Dubai.
