Chris Botti, one of the most popular American artists nowadays, is coming for the first time in Romania this year. He will perform at Sala Palatului/Palace Hall in Bucharest on June 3, at 8 p.m.
The US trumpeter and composer has sold over 4 million albums. His latest album “Impressions” has won a Grammy in the Best Pop Instrumental Album category.
During his three decades of career, Botti has recorded and performed next to renowned artists such as Sting, Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Josh Groban, Yo-Yo Ma, Michael Bublé, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, John Mayer, Andrea Bocelli, Joshua Bell, Steven Tyler from Aerosmith and even Frank Sinatra.
Touring 300 days per year, the famous trumpeter has performed with some of the world’s fampous orchestras in iconic concert halls, from Carnegie Hall and Hollywood Bowl, to Opera of Sydney and Real Teatro di San Carlo in Italy.

Coming to prominence with the 2001 recording of his Night Sessions album, Botti established a reputation as a versatile musician in both jazz and pop music for his ability to fuse both styles together.
