British rock singer and songwriter Rod Stewart is expected to Romania this autumn to perform in Bucharest within the Bucharest Days.
The 73-year-old famous artist will thread the boards in Constitutiei Square in the Capital city on September 23. Romanian band Vunk will sing in the opening act.
The concert is part of the events series organized by the Bucharest City Hall to mark the Capital’s 559th birthday, as well as Romania’s 100th anniversary.
The access is free and will be possible starting 7 p.m.
Bucharest City Hall announced that, during September 21-23, through creart- The Creation, Art and Tradition Centre of Bucharest- will organize “a major cultural programme” in Constitutiei Square, comprising a series of three events. Romanian pan flute musician, Gheorghe Zamfir, also famous worldwide, will perform on September 21. iMapp Bucharest contest is due on September 22, when the band Hurts will also perform.
