2015 promises to be full of musical events, as several renowned international artists such as Andre Rieu, Robbie Williams, Marc Anthony and OneRepublic are to perform in Romania.
Robbie Williams’ show in Bucharest, as already announced by RomaniaJournal, will take place in Constitution Square, the date of the concert not being made public yet.
Also, Thomas Anders, former member of the German pop duo Modern Talking, will perform a concert at the Palace Hall in Bucharest on January 24. Thomas Anders will come to Bucharest with his band, for the second time. Fans will be able to listen live in Bucharest hits such as “Cheri, Cheri Lady”, “You’re My Heart, You’re My Soul”, “Sexy Sexy Lover”, “You Are Not Alone”, “No face, no name, no number”, “Brother Louie” and many more.
On the other hand, Swedish band Sabaton, one of the most popular bands of the new wave of heavy metal and power metal, will perform on January 27 at Turbohalle in Bucharest, launching with this occasion their new album “Heroes”.
Also in 2015, Toto Cutugno, the famous interpreter of “L’Italiano”, “Serenata” and “Insieme: 1992” will perform on February 27 at the Palace Hall in Bucharest, in a unique show, alongside the Symphonic Orchestra Bucharest.
Joaquin Cortes, considered “the king of flamenco” will present “Gitano”, “the innermost show so far”, on March 15 at the Palace Hall. The next day, Jose Feliciano, known around the world for the song “Feliz Navidad” will also perform at the Palace Hall.
Latino artist David Bisbal will return to Bucharest after two years since his show in the Romanian Capital which gathered over 4,000 fans. He is to perform a concert on March 18 and singer Mariza, also known as “the queen of fado music”, will return to Bucharest with a concert at the Palace Hall on March 24.
Richard Clayderman, one of the most famous international pianists, returns to Bucharest on March 26 with the show “From Paris with Love” performed in world premiere at the Palace Hall and singer Marc Anthony will have a concert at the same location on March 31.
Moreover, Swedish duo Roxette will perform on May 17 at the Roman Arenas in Bucharest, this being the band’s second visit in the capital of Romania, after their concert in 2011. OneRepublic, one of the most beloved pop-rock bands of the moment, is announced to be performing for the first time in Romania at the Roman Arenas in Bucharest on June 4. The concert is part of the promoting tour of the band’s latest album entitled “Native”.
Another concert announced for 2015 is Europe’s one, which will take place on June 11 at the Palace Hall in Bucharest, when Romanian fans will be listening to songs from their new album. The concert will also include all the band’s hits, as well as first audition songs.
A special highlight of 2015 in Romania is represented by the series of five concerts violinist Andre Rieu will perform in the Constitution Square in Bucharest, due to the extraordinary demand from the Romanian audience. The first four concerts are scheduled between June 11 to 14, and the fifth one will be held on June 6.
On the other hand, gothis metal German band Lacrimas Profundere will perform within the fourth edition of Metalhead Meeting, to take place from June 12 to 14 in Bucharest. Alongside the German band will be playing bands such as Amorphis, Bloodbath, The Sirens, Triptykon, Primordial, Dew Scented, Antimatter, Demonical and Centinex.
Also, the band Toto will perform for the first time in Romania, at Palace Hall in Bucharest on June 27, the audience having the opportunity to listen to the band’s famous songs such as “Hold the Line” and “Africa”. On the same day, Godsmack, one of the most famous heavy metal bands in the United States, will be performing in Bucharest, at the Roman Arenas. They will also be for the first time in Romania.
In July, American heavy metal band Black Label Society will offer a concert on the 27th at the Roman Arenas in Bucharest.
Also, the Dutch band Epica is the first confirmed headliner for the 2015 edition of Maximum Rock Festival, which will take place on October 16 and 17 in Bucharest.
Belgians from Triggerfinger, Suie Paparude, Coma, Grimus and Toulouse Lautrec are among the bands that will perform at the second edition of Shine Festival, an event to be held on July 4 and 5 at Roman Arenas in Bucharest.
Dutch band BZN will perform at the Palace Hall in Bucharest on October 10, this being the last show the band will perform in Romania, according to the event’s organizers.
