Voltaj band representing Romania in the Eurovision contest qualified for the final that is due on Saturday, after getting by the first semi final on Tuesday night on the Wiener Stadhalle stage in Austria’s capital city.
Voltaj song, “All Over Again” is part of a campaign that is warning over the situation of the children let behind by the parents who left at work abroad.Voltaj soloist Calin Goia said the band is happy that the song’s message would get to the final.
15 other countries raced in the first semi final next to the Romanian band: Greece, Macedonia, Estonia, The Netherlands, Republic of Moldova, Finland, Belgium, Armenia, Serbia, Denmark, Belarus, Russia, Albania, Georgia and Hungary. Ten countries qualified for the Saturday’s final: Albania, Armenia, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Greece, Estonia, Georgia, Serbia and Belgium.
40 countries are competing in Eurovision 2015, with this edition being broadcast on the Internet for the first time in the contest’s history. The show is going live on YouTube, on Eurovision official channel, Rolling Stone magazine informed.
