Romania reaches the Eurovision 2017 final

Romanian singers racing for the Eurovision 2017, Ilinca and Alex Florea have qualified to the final with their song “Yodel It!” after the contest’s second semifinal in Kiev on Thursday night. The Romanians have qualified on the fifth position.

The song “Yodel It!” is ranked sixth by the betting offices.

Ilinca and Alex will compete the other finalists qualified on Thursday: Bulgaria, Belarus, Croatia, Hungary, Denmark, Israel, Norway, The Netherlands and Austria.

The artists who sang on Thursday in the Eurovision 2017 second semifinal were in the order of taking to the stage: Tijana Bogićević (Serbia), “In Too Deep”, Nathan Trent (Austria), “Running On Air”, Jana Burceska (Macedonia), “Dance Alone”, Claudia Faniello (Malta), “Breathlessly”, Ilinca and Alex Florea (Romania), “Yodel It!”, OG3NE (The Netherlands), “Lights and Shadows”, Joci Pápai (Hungary), “Origo”, Anja (Denmark), “Where I Am”, Brendan Murray (Ireland), “Dying to Try”, Valentina Monetta and Jimmie Wilson (San Marino), “Spirit of the Night”, Jacques Houdek (Croatia), “My Friend”, JOWST (Norway), “Grab The Moment”, Timebelle (Switzerland), “Apollo”, Naviband (Belarus), “Story of My Life”, Kristian Kostov (Bulgaria), “Beautiful Mess”, Fusedmarc (Lithuania), “Rain Of Revolution”, Koit Toome & Laura (Estonia), “Verona”, and IMRI (Israel), “I Feel Alive”.

The ten artists qualified in the first semifinal are from the Republic of Moldova, Greece, Sweden, Portugal, Poland, Armenia, Australia, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, and Belgium.

The final is due on Saturday, May 13.
