Romanian photographer captured woman beauty in 37 countries

The “Atlas of Beauty” project signed by Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc, who travelled in 37 countries to capture the beauty of women worldwide is praised by the international media, such as The Independent, CNN, Daily Mail, Le Figaro, Business Insider or boredpanda.com.

To the Romanian photographer, beauty means diversity and to keep alive your origins and culture, “to be natural, sincere, authentic, particular, not necessary fashion or skinny”.

“I love the variety of earth, the diversity of people and I try to go beyond their surface, to discover their sincere and authentic side, to photograph it.

In the last years I worked hard, saved some money and started an independent unique project about women from all around the world: The Atlas of Beauty,” the 30-year-old photographer from Bucharest begins her story.

“From Western Europe to African Tribes, and from Rio de Janeiro to China, I try to capture, in my photos, natural and diverse faces. Maybe in 50 years all women from all around the world will dress and act the same. I hope my project will remain a witness of my era’s cultures and traditions. My goal is to continue for many years and to study beauty in all countries of the globe, if possible, making this Atlas a project known around the world and an inspiration for all women that try to be themselves,” Mihaela writes on her blog.

She also relates that she had visited more than 60 countries until now, with her backpack and her camera, yet informing that she spent all her savings travelling and that now she is looking for funds to continue her work.
