Sold out opera at the beginning of the year on the stage of the Bucharest National Opera
The Bucharest National Opera started the new year with sold out performances. The first week of 2023 brings to the stage of Bucharest opera two reference titles of opera and ballet: the show “Carmen” by Georges Bizet and the show “The Nutcracker” by Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
On Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 6:30 p.m., we are waiting for you at the performance of the opera “Carmen” by Georges Bizet. The folklore-inspired sonorities used by the composer Georges Bizet require the presence of elements that place the action in Seville, a city full of color, sound of castanets and flamenco steps.
The performance on the stage of the Bucharest National Opera is built in this spirit, in warm tones, in which shades of yellow, orange and red abound.
Sunday, January 8, 2023, 6:30 p.m., we invite you to the ballet performance “The Nutcracker” by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Tchaikovsky began work on his creation “The Nutcracker” in January 1892, and in March the work was finished, showing an unreal inspirational force that created a masterpiece, in which music and dance intertwine in perfect perfection.
Tickets available here.
