After six spectacular editions and hundreds of thousands of fans who experienced the magic of sunsets and sunrises on the beach, the organizers of Neversea have announced that the 7th edition of the festival will take place in 2026, in Constanța.

The decision was made because, for this year, the Neversea team, together with local authorities, was unable to identify a beach sector that was both free of contracts and suitable for the standards and concept the festival’s fans have come to expect. Modern Beach, the location that has hosted the festival until now, has in recent years been leased for other commercial activities such as beach bars and sunbed rentals. This has significantly impacted the available space and logistics for the festival, and in recent months, more key areas of the site have been auctioned off.

Costin Răsăuțeanu, Deputy Mayor of Constanța, has committed to unlocking the situation and finding solutions that would allow the Neversea Festival to continue on a beach in Constanța, in full compliance with legal standards and the requirements of an international-scale festival.

“Neversea is a special concept, and over time it has become the largest and most spectacular beach festival in Europe. As a team, we’ve invested a great deal of passion, effort, energy, and substantial resources to get here. We are determined and committed to finding a long-term, commercially and legally sustainable solution with the support of local authorities.
Even though we’ve had to pause Neversea for this summer, Deputy Mayor Costin Răsăuțeanu has convinced us not to give up the search for viable options. With his active involvement, we are confident that we will find a solution together to host Neversea in 2026 and ensure its long-term success.
We’ll see you again at the most beautiful and spectacular beach festival in 2026.”
Bogdan Buta, CEO & Founder of UNTOLD UNIVERSE Group (which also owns Neversea)

“I was aware that the Neversea organizers were at a point where they could no longer organize the festival due to the unresolved beach situation. I’ve seen this as a major loss for local tourism and the economy. I decided to get involved directly because I know how much this event means for the city. The City Hall must act as a facilitator, and we will support the organizers with everything they need to keep this event in Constanța.
We already have several potential locations that we’ll evaluate with the Neversea team. Once again, I want to emphasize that this type of event is essential for our city, both culturally and economically.”
Costin Răsăuțeanu, Deputy Mayor of Constanța

At the same time, in the coming weeks, all fans who purchased early bird passes for Neversea 2025 will receive an email with multiple options for using their tickets.

“We are deeply grateful to the Neversea fans who have stood by us and believed in our story. The decision to move the next edition to 2026 was not easy. We promise the wait will be worth it, and we’ll return with a spectacular, intense, and unforgettable experience. Thank you for your trust and patience—Neversea is about amazing people and their energy.”
