The spectacular Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna returns to Bucharest for the most-expected Christmas concert to be hosted at Sala Palatului on December 17, at 7 p.m.
The concert program includes a short live performance of OLIVER FRANKEL, a talented young man, sand art created by the famous artist MARIANA PACHIS and the performance of the well-known Vienna orchestra.

The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna is a renowned and internationally acclaimed Viennese chamber orchestra that translates the glamorous era of imperial Vienna into music. In addition to a high level of musical quality, this orchestra sets itself apart by interpreting music with a unified sound, a delightful stage presence and impeccable appearance. The orchestra performs regularly at the Orangery of Schoenbrunn Palace. However, the rest of the world has the opportunity to enjoy the orchestra’s enchanting performance as well. On selected occasions, the Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra Vienna is performing internationally now, both in Europe and overseas. During previous concert tours, the orchestra was enthusiastically received in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Japan, Italy, Romania, the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, China, Switzerland and Croatia. Concert tours to Russia, Australia, Dubai and South America are currently being planned.
The orchestra’s repertoire focuses on the works of W.A. Mozart, the Strauss family and other composers of that era. The Schoenbrunn Palace Orchestra attaches great importance to Viennese-style interpretation of the pieces it plays. The orchestra excels in interpreting the works of classical Viennese composers and Viennese music with a subtle and individual touch, always adding that “Viennese” note. The orchestra has a longstanding tradition of working with operetta singers and ballet dancers.
