Madrigal Choir performs 51st Christmas Concert at Romanian Athenaeum, December 14

The National Chamber Choir Madrigal – Marin Constantin, under the wand of Anna Ungureanu, decided to give two performances on December 14 at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest.

The two concerts will take place at 17:30 and 20:00.

The famous Romanian Madrigal Choir which has held over 4,100 concerts will celebrate 51 years of activity by bringing back the magic of the carols at The Romanian Athenaeum.

‘‘Tickets will be available for all categories, offering the audience the opportunity to enjoy one of the greatest traditional ‘Christmas Concerts’. During winter holidays, this is by far the most beautiful and warm Romanian Classical Concert”, said Maria Stoica, the manager of National Chamber Choir ‘Madrigal’ – Marin Constantin.

Tickets are available at bilete.ro,  Hotel Ibis Bucharest, at Metrorex, Unirii 1, Palatul Copiilor (Children’s Pallace), and Romanian Radio Hall’s box office (Sala Radio), at 520 post offices ( Posta Romana), Immedio and Germanos shops.The prices are varying according to the seat category from RON 60 – III category, RON 150 – II category  to RON 200 – I category ( box seat).

The Romanian National Chamber Choir MADRIGAL was founded in 1963 by the famous conductor Marin Constantin and has performed over 4,100 concerts in Romania and on famous stages in Europe, America and Asia.

In 1992, after recording 40 discs and promoting art at the highest levels, the choir was included on “UNESCO World Heritage List”.
