“And what did you do with the cat?” – Iasi and Campina

On October 21, 2024, the “Vasile Alecsandri” National Theater in Iasi will host “And what did you do with the cat?” at 20:00. On October 22, 2024, the show also arrives at the Youth Center in Câmpina, from 19:00. This comedy full of twists and turns follows the story of a rich aunt and her gambling-obsessed nephew. With a humorous plot and unexpected surprises, the show promises an evening of laughter and reflection for all viewers.

Take, Ianke and Cadâr – Pitesti and Târgoviște

On October 21, 2024, at the House of Culture of Trade Unions in Pitesti and on October 22 at Cinema Independenta, we offer you a legendary comedy – “Take, Ianke and Cadâr”. Horațiu Mălăele, Răzvan Vasilescu and Mihai Constantin tell the story of the three merchants, a story that has captivated the public since 1932.

Crazy about you – Constanța and Tecuci

On October 21 in Constanța and on October 23 in Tecuci, we are waiting for you at a show about a great passion of a genius for a nightingale who could not bear to live in a golden cage. The story of a marriage crossed by passion, jealousy, happiness, quarrels and betrayal. The true story of the famous legendary French couple Sacha Guitry and Yvonne Printemps who dominated Paris and the whole world during the 1920s. A bittersweet comedy about life lived as if on stage.

Gaițele – Bucharest

We end the week of performances on October 27 at the National Children’s Palace in Bucharest with the classic “Gaițele” in an exceptional cast of Maia Morgenstern, Carmen Tănase, Virginia Rogin and Adriana Trandafir. One of the most important comedies in Romanian dramatic literature, written by Alexandru Kirițescu, brings to the stage an acid satire of the interwar petty bourgeoisie. The show reveals the tensions, hypocrisy and superficiality of a middle-class family dominated by petty intrigues and petty ambitions. The characters are extremely colorful and well-defined, each with their own dose of cruelty or cunning, from the domineering mother to the fragile and vulnerable wife.
