Royal Viennese Tour: December Concerts by Italian Opera Orchestra

The Royal Viennese National Tour presents the Extraordinary Christmas Concert, which will take place in December across no less than 29 cities throughout the country, featuring guest soloists from the Vienna State Opera, the Rome Opera, La Scala in Milan, Mozarteum-Salzburg, and two renowned orchestras: Orchestra di Teatro D’opera Italiana and Opera Vox Orchestra.

MUSICIANS FROM TWO RENOWNED EUROPEAN ORCHESTRAS

Orchestra di Teatro D’opera Italiana, one of the most famous orchestras in Europe, has been applauded on major opera and philharmonic stages worldwide, including Brucknerhaus Linz (Linz Philharmonic), Bregenz Festspielhaus (Bregenz Philharmonic), Brunnenhof der Residenz Munchen (Munich Imperial Palace), Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Stadthalle Vienna, Meistersingershalle Nurnberg, Kasemattenbuehne Graz, and more.

The orchestra’s recognition is also bolstered by collaborations with world-renowned operatic figures, including soloists and conductors from the Arena di Verona, La Scala Milan, Rome Opera House, Vienna State Opera, and more. Members of the Orchestra di Teatro D’opera Italiana will be joined by instrumentalists from the Opera Vox Orchestra, a nationally and internationally acclaimed ensemble.

This is a new concept in Romania, where instrumentalists from two top European orchestras come together to offer audiences memorable evenings and unique musical experiences. Additionally, both orchestras were invited this year to the largest opera festival in Asia, the “Borneo Opera Festival,” as the official orchestras.

The musical direction of the performance will be provided by the young conductor and violinist soloist Bogdan Costache, and thus the guest soloists and instrumentalists from Vienna, Italy, Switzerland, Germany will perform under the baton of one of the most talented orchestra conductors of the young generation, born in Romania. Thus, the show will be an interactive one, conducted “with violin in hand” according to the model of Johann Strauss or, more recently, of Andre Rieu. The program includes numerous soloist surprises performed on the violin, together with the orchestra, by Bogdan Costache.
THE SHOW WILL BE PERFECTED BY THE VOX OPERA CHOIR AND BALLET The members of the orchestra are joined by the Ballet Ensemble of the Vox Opera with the long-awaited moments of waltzes, polkas, can-can, in an effervescent and engaging choreography, so that you will be invited to dance by our orchestras themselves and our dancers, through the famous “ Alles Walzer!”.
Christmas carols and carols will also shine through the voices of the Vox Opera Choir. And this year you will also be able to enjoy our traditional Romanian carols.
