Tickets for more recitals at the George Enescu Festival this year were sold-out in no time.
Tickets for the recitals to be performed by internationally renowned artists such as Lang Lang, Jonas Kaufmann and Anoushka Shakar got sold-out in several seconds, while those for the concerts performed by Filarmonica della Scala, next to David Garrett, Royal Philharmonic London, featuring Martha Argerich and Israel Philharmonic Orchestra next to Khatia Buniatishvili were also sold-out in ten minutes.
Individual tickets for the 2017 Enescu Festival has been put up for sale on Thursday morning at 10 a.m., online at eventim.ro and in the Eventim network countrywide and abroad.
Among the events where the tickets have also run short in a record time there are three performances within the World Great Orchestras series, 11 concerts within the Recitals and Chamber Concerts category and three concerts for the Midnight Concerts series.
The 2017 edition of the Enescu Festival due on September 2-24 will also include an unprecedented event, by chording the mathematics to the sound of music within the “Creative Bucharest” project. As an absolute first in Romania, the “Imaginary” interactive exhibition on maths and music will be on display during the festival.
