The “Thinking and Aphorisms by Leo Tolstoy” book will be launched at the Russian Centre in Bucharest (50 Lascar Catargiu Boulevard) next Monday, May 30 at 6 p.m. The book is a collection made and arranged by Nicolae Mareș, comprising some of the most beautiful entities of the Tolstoy thinking. Since early youth, the Russian genius has been preoccupied with expressing his understanding over the world in his personal diary, which became a true masterpiece after his death which is read and studied sometimes with the same zest like a philosophical work.
The event will also host a presentation on these topics signed by researchers and museographs from Iasnaia Poliana Leo Tolstoy Museum.
In order to get closer to Tolstoy also in terms of space, the attendees will also talk about the writer’s impressions during his visit to Bucharest. So, you will find how he spent his time in the Romanian Capital city, where did he live and what he experienced.
The Russian Centre in Bucharest celebrated his one-year anniversary this month.
