Traditional Christmas Fair at German Embassy in Bucharest

Germany’s Embassy in Bucharest is holding a traditional Christmas Fair at the institution HQs (6-8 Gheorghe Demetriade Street) starting on Friday, December 12. H.E. Ambassador Werner Hans Lauk makes the official opening at 5 p.m.

German gastronomic specialties, sweets and beverages, Christmas ornaments and hand made art objects, candles and wooden toys are put up for sale.

“Karpatenshow” band and other chorus ensembles will introduce the audience in the Advent atmosphere by performing Christmas carols.

As in the previous years, the money raised from the sales will be used to charitable purposes.

The fair is open during 16:30-20:30. The entrance is free.
