Untold, one of the largest music festivals in Europe, held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, will take place during September 9-12, with hundreds of thousands of spectators expected.

Untold had been initially scheduled for August 2021, but the organizers say that rescheduling it for September represents an extra guarantee that the event will be held under the best circumstances this year.

Only those who are vaccinated, who provide a negative Covid test or an antibodies test will have access to the festival. The first passes will be available as of this Thursday, June 10.

“The Romanian Government has given the green light for big festivals, with no capacity limit. Therefore, due to the success of the vaccination campaign, Romania is one of the first countries that is opening gates for the music festival lovers.

UNTOLD 2021 will be a long-expected reunion, after almost a two-year break, a world celebration of getting back to normality. It gives to those over 1,000 suppliers and 15,000 collaborators the guarantee that the sixth edition of Untold means a relaunch of the activity for more than 16 months of recess,” the organizers announced on Monday.

The festival’s representatives argue that they provided authorities with all the scientific studies and with the results of the pilot events abroad, proving maximum safety at those events with access only for the vaccinated, tested people, or those who have antibodies.

Besides, the European Union is expected to approve on July 1 the Covid 19 Green Certificate that provides the same three conditions: vaccine, antibodies certificate or negative test.

Starting today, June 7, the fans of the Untold festival who have no tickets or passes yet can register on untold.com to buy passes for the 2021 edition. Passes will be put up for sale on Thursday, June 10, at the price of RON 149 plus taxes, only for those registered on untold.com.

At the same time, people who bought passes for Untold 2020 and turned them in ANYTIME passes, can choose the 2021 edition.

Over 375,000 people attended the Untold 2019.
