The VIP tickets (RON 299) for Mariza’s upcoming performance in Bucharest are sold out. The Portuguese artist’s ‘Mundo‘ tour is expected to halt in Bucharest on November 19, at 8 p.m. at Sala Palatului.

Organizers from German Quality Entertainment also urged music lovers on Thursday to buy tickets in due time, as available seats are already running short.

What could be more touching in a late autumn month than a new encounter with the most spectacular and refined fado singer of the moment, an extravagant, elegant appearance, a voice that instantly melted the listeners’ hearts.

Access is available as of 7 p.m.

Born to a Portuguese father and a mother of partial African heritage, Mariza began singing as an early age in a wide variety of musical styles, including gospel, soul and jazz. Her father strongly encouraged her to adopt fado; he felt that participating in the traditional music would grant her greater acceptance in the Portuguese community. Mariza has sold over 1,000,000 records worldwide and performed an impressive number of concerts.

In 2004, the singer is awarded the prize of the Foreign Journalists Association in Portugal, but also the European Border Breakers Award.

During the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, Mariza sang “A Thousand Years” in duet with Sting.

Now, the Diva is again on an European Tour to promote her latest album “Mundo” released after a 5-year break.

Valuable instrumentalists will accompany Mariza during her concert in Bucharest. The Portuguese guitar, classic guitar, acoustics bass, drumms and percussion will accompany Mariza’s old and new hits.

Tickets for the first category, worth RON 199 are available online through eventim.ro.
