Aerobics, World Championship: Romania wins two silver and two bronze medals

Romanian gymnasts won two silver medals and two bronze medals at the Aerobics World Championship in Guimaraes, Portugal, which concluded on Sunday.

The first medal was won in the team’s contest, bronze, with 28 points, behind Russia and South Korea, reports.

Andreea Bogati and Dacian Nicolae Barna won the silver in the mixed pairs’ event with 22.050 points, behind Italy and Hungary.

Romania won the second silver medal in the group contest (Andreea Bogati, Dacian Nicolae Barna, Gabriel Bocşer, Marian Broţei, Mihai Alin Popa) with 22.222 points, behind China and ahead of Russia.

The second bronze medal was won in aerobic dance by Sandra Dincă, Isabela Dumitraşcu, Mădălina Constantina Cioveie, Ioana Andreea Darie, Cristina Nedelcu, Steliana Stoenescu, Flavia Sentea, Denisa Ganea) with 17,900 points, behind South Korea and China.
