Bronze medal for Maria Adela Constantin and Andreea Grecu, at the World Championships for bobsled and skeleton
Romanian women Maria Adela Constantin and Andreea Grecu won the bronze medals on Sunday in the team event as part of an international team at the World Championships in Koenigssee (Germany) for bobsled and skeleton.
German Alexander Gassner competed in the men’s singles in the skeleton event, Maria Constantin/Andreea Grecu in bobsled-2 female, Anna Fernstaedt (Germany) has competed in the women’s singles at the skeleton and the Germans Richard Oelsner and Marc Rademacher in the men’s bob-2, the cumulative time was of 3 min 22 sec 69/100. It is for the first time that an international team wins a medal at the World bobsleigh and skeleton.
The first two places on the podium were won by Germany. Gold medalists (Axel Jungk, Mariama Jamanka/Franziska Bertels, Jacqueline Loelling, Johannes Lochner/Christian Rasp) were timed in 3 minutes 21 sec 84/100, and the silver medallists(Christopher Grotheer, Stephanie Schneider/Lisa Marie Buckwitz, Tina Hermann, Nico Walther/Philipp Wobeto) in 3 min 22 sec 44/100.
