China Open: Simona Halep, defeated by Shuai Zhang 6-0, 6-3

Romanian tennis player Simona Halep, 4th seeded in the Beijing tournament, has been eliminated in the last sixteen round by Shuai Zhang (China, 36th WTA) 6-0, 6-3 on Thursday in only 59 minutes.
Halep is thus defeated for the second time this year by the Chinese tennis player, the first one was at Australian Open, in the first round. Zhang leads 2-1 in direct confrontations.
For her participation to the tournament in Beijing, Simona Halep will receive a cheque for USD 62,768 and 120 WTA points.
