FCSB player Constantin Budescu (photo) has been named Europa League’s player of the week by internet votes, uefa.com informs.

Budescu scored two goals against Viktoria Plzen and received 46% of the votes.

Next were: Aleksandr Kokorin (Zenit Sankt Petersburg) – 24%; Andre Silva (AC Milan) – 19%, Saman Ghoddos (Ostersund) – 7%, Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal) – 3%.

Romanian vice-champions FCSB defeated Viktoria Plzen on Thursday 3-0 (2-0) in Bucharest, in the first match counting for qualifying Group G in Europa League.

The goals were scored by Constantin Budescu – (21st minute — penalty and 44th min.) and Denis Alibec (73rd min.).

In the third qualifying round for Champions League: FCSB 2 Viktoria Plzen 2 in Bucharest and Plzen 1 FCSB 4 away.

The next match for FCSB in Group G is against FC Lugano on September 28.
