UPDATE – Davis Cup: Romania 4 Slovenia 1, qualifies to second round

Romanian tennis player Marius Copil has defeated on Sunday Tomislav Ternar 6-3, 6-3 at the Davis Cup to seal the final score of the Romanian victory in the match against Slovenia by 4-1.

In the first game on Sunday Adrian Ungur was defeated by Blaz Rola 6-3, 6-4.

On Saturday the pair Florin Mergea/Horia Tecau defeated Blaz Rola/Grega Zemlja 6-3, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (3) to bring the victory to the Romanian tennis team against Slovenia, 3-0, in the match counting for the Davis Cup Euro Africa Group 1 round 1.

Romanian tennis player Marius Copil (ranked 202nd ATP) defeated Blaz Rola (160th ATP) 7-5, 6-3, 7-6 on Friday, in the first game of the Romania vs. Slovenia match.

The second encounter was won by Adrian Ungur, although Zemlja led him by 2-0. Finally, Ungur won by 3-2 (4-6, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6, 6-4) after pending moments in Arad.

Romania team qualified to the second round where it will play against the team of Spain, also at home, during July 15-17.
