Romanian football vice-champions FCSB defeated FC Lugano away on Thursday 2-1 (0-1), at Luzern Arena, in Group G of the Europa League.

The hosts led at half time due to the goal scored by Mattia Bottani in the 14th minute and to the poor game by FCSB. In the second half the Romanian team scored twice to take the lead and win the match – Constantin Budescu (photo) in the 58th minute and Junior Morais in the 64th minute.

Lugano wasted the opportunity to take two goals lead in the first half, when Mariani hit the FCSB post bar from 22 metres.

At the score of 1-1, the hosts had the chance to take the lead again, but Bottani shot in goalkeeper Nita in the 61st minute.
