Fencing: Ana Maria Brânz?, second in the Grand Prix in Budapest

Athlete Ana Maria Brânz? won on Sunday the second place in the Grand Prix in Budapest in the sword event, being defeated in the final by Shin A Lam (South Korea) 9-5, frscrima.ro informs.

In the first round Brânz? defeated compatriot Amalia T?t?ran 15-13, in the second round she defeated the Ewa Nelip (Poland) 13-11, in the last sixteen she defeated Courtney Hurley (US) 15-8, in the quarter-finals Branza defeated ordered another Polish, Magdalena Piekarska 15-11, while in the semi-finals she defeated Tatiana Andriushina (Russia) 14-13.

Ana-Maria Cheese will be rewarded with 39 FIE points, while Shin Lam will receive 48 points.
