HC Odorhei has won the Men’s Handball Challenge Cup on Sunday, after defeating the Portuguese  team Liberty Seguros ABC / UMinho 32-25 (18-15) at home in the second leg of the final.

HC Odorhei won the first European trophy and became the third team in our country that wins the Challenge Cup in recent years after Steaua (2006) and UCM Resita (2007, 2008, 2009).

The Portuguese team lost the third European final, after the 1994 Champions League final and the 2005 Challenge Cup final.
