Triple jumper Marian Oprea, bronze medallist this year at the European Championships, was nominated on Wednesday as the Romanian Athlete of 2015 by the Romanian Athletics Federation (FRA).
Marian Oprea won the bronze medal at the European Indoor Championships and was ranked No. 6 at the World Championships.
On the second place was nominated Florentina Marincu (long jump) – bronze medal at the Indoor European Championships, gold medallist at the European Juniors I, bronze medallist in the triple jump event, also at EC juniors I, two first place rankings at the Balkan Junior Championships and a first place at the Balkan senior Championships.
On the third place was nominated Bianca Razor (400 meters) – gold medallist at the European youth Championships.
