Men’s handball, Challenge Cup: CSM Bucharest defeats RF Borac in first round of quarter-finals

CSM Bucharest men’s team defeated RK Morac on Saturday 25-18 (16-7) at Dinamo Sport Hall in the capital, in the first round of the Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
CSM led by nine goals at halftime, but the guests recovered part of the goal-difference in the second half.
CSM scorers: Leonardo Sampaio Santos 8 goals, Alexander Tioumentsev 4, Alexandro Pozzer 3, Chike Onyejekwe 3, Sajad Esteki 2, Goce Georgievski 2, Ramon Şomlea 1, Ionuţ Ramba 1, Bogdan Mănescu 1.
RK Morac scorers: Milan Dakic 4, Srdjan Savic 4, Srdjan Mijatovic 3, Dejan Uncanin 2, Haris Buljina 2, Bojan Radjenovic 1, Milos Njezic 1, Djordje Celic 1, Dean Sesic 1.
The return match will take place in Banja Luka, on March 30.
