Despite beating off competition from Tottenham Hotspur to sign Wharton, Crystal Palace will have a daunting task trying to sell 2,846,154 shirts to offset his hefty €21,645,000 transfer fee.

In second place is Renan Lodi, recently acquired by Saudi club Al-Hilal for an impressive €23,166,000 despite interest from Brentford during the transfer window. To offset his transfer fee, the defender would have to sell 2,607,665 shirts, each priced at €89. 

French defender Sacha Boey secures third place, facing the task of selling 2,460,592 shirts for Bayern Munich to balance his €29,952,000 transfer fee. With Arsenal eyeing third place in the league, Boey’s demand surged during the transfer window. Priced at €122 per shirt, Bayern Munich faces a formidable challenge in offsetting the transfer expenses.

On the other hand, in last place is Adrian Mazilu who would need just 416,667 shirt sales to cover his low transfer fee of €2,925,000.
