Romanian sportscaster Ilie Dobre, for the 9th time in the World Book of Records

The well-known Romanian sport commentator Ilie Dobre, working for the national radio, has been included for the ninth time in the World Book of Records for setting a new record for a non-breathing cry following a goal, in the studio, of 52 seconds and 3 tenths.

The new performance was homologated by the World Record Academy.

Ilie Dobre had other world records: 35 seconds and 6 tenths; 31 seconds and 27 seconds for non-breathing cry following a goal scored. Records for breathing cry of 1 minute and 8 seconds (one breath). He is also the sport commentator having written and published most books, romaniaactualitati.ro informs.

World Record Academy awarded him two high distinctions: ‘The most successful sport commentator in the world’ and ‘Man of the year in media’ (2014).

In 2008 Ilie Dobre was awarded by the Romanian President the ‘National Order for Merit’ in rank of Knight.
