Rowing, European Championships: Romania’s delegation wins seven medals, leader in the nations ranking

Romania won three gold medals, one silver and one bronze medal at the European Rowing Championships in Glasgow, on Saturday, with the athletes in our country finishing first in the men’s quadruple sculls, the women’s pair and the women’s eight, while the women’s four was ranked second, and the men’s quadruple sculls finished on last on the podium.

On Sunday, Romania won a silver medal in the men’s double sculls and a bronze medal in the men’s eight. The Romanian athletes rank first by medals (three gold, two silver and two bronze medals) in the nations’ standings.
