Rowing: Gold and bronze medals for Romania at World Rowing Cup III in Rotterdam

Romania won one gold medal and one bronze medal on Sunday at the World Rowing Cup III in Rotterdam.

The gold was won by Nicoleta Ancuta Bodnar and Simona Geanina Radis in double sculls event in 07 min 58 sec 390/1000, followed by Australia (07: 59.110) and Canada (08: 03.770).

The bronze medal was won by the four female crew made up by Ioana Vrânceanu, Viviana Iuliana Bejinariu, Madalina Bereş, Denisa Tilvescu. The Romanians were timed in 06 min 52 sec 220/1000, behind Australia (06: 48.220) and Denmark (06: 50.530).

Australia was the first in the medal standings with 5 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals, followed by the Netherlands, 4-1-4, Germany, 3-3-3, etc. Romania was the 13th with 1-0-1.
