Timisoara Saracens has defeated on Saturday the Italian team Fiamme Oro Rugby Roma 35-14 (12-0), at the Dan Păltinişanu Stadium, in the preliminary Group B of the Rugby Challenge Cup.
Timisoara Saracens won the first games against Valladolid (36-18, away) and against Femi-CZ Rugby Rovigo (45-13) and the last game of the group stage will be played on January 16, away against Heidelberger Ruderklub (Germany).
Saracens Timisoara ranks first in the preliminary Group B with 15 points, followed by GD Direito (Portugal) 2 points, Mogliano Rugby (Italy) 2 points and Royal Kituro (Belgium) 0 points.
