Rugby Championship Europe: Romania, defeated by Georgia 15-6 in Bucharest

Romanian national squad was defeated 15-6 (9-3) by Georgia on Saturday at the National Stadium in Bucharest Arch of Triumph, in their last game of the 2015 Rugby Championship Europe season.

Georgia won thus the ‘Antim Ivireanul’ Cup again, a cup at stake on every game between the two teams.

Romania has not won any of their last six clashes with Georgia, succeeding only a draw in 2013 at home (9-9). ” The last time Romania had won was in March 2010, in Bucharest, 22-10.

In another match played on Saturday, Russia defeated Portugal 21-8.

Georgia finished first this season of Rugby Europe Championship with 21 points, followed by Romania 15 p, Russia 13 p, Spain 9 p (5 j), Portugal 5 p, Germany 1p (4 j) .
