The under 21 national team has left on Tuesday on a training tour in Spain, at San Rogue, expected to play two friendly matches against Russia on March 24 and Denmark on March 27.

Nevertheless, the U21 team’s coach Daniel Isaila (photo), has found out about the misbehaviour of four footballers. Ionuţ Nedelcearu, Alin Dudea, Patrick Petre (all with FC Dinamo Bucharest) and Vlad Olteanu (Sepsi OSK) have violated the federation’s rules and got drunk during the flight to Spain. They celebrated Vlad Olteanu’s birthday, according to ziare.com.

The Romanian Football Federation (FRF) and the technical staff believe that reaching high performance cannot be achieved on such misbehaviours, far from what a football player should do. On Wednesday morning, coach Isaila has decided to give up the four players and send them home.

Dinamo football club fines the players, moves them to the second team

In an official release, FC Dinamo has announced that the players Patrick Petre, Alin Dudea and Ionut Nedelcearu have been sent indefinitely to the second team and were fined. The fourth player, Vlad Olteanu, will only pay the fine, as he is on loan to Sepsi Sfantu Gheorghe team.

“Following their misbehaviour confirmed by FRF at the U21 team, the Dinamo football players Patrick Petre, Alin Dudea and Ionut Nedelcearu will train with the second team until further notice. The three players and Vlad Olteanu, on temporary transfer to second league team Sepsi OSK Sfantu Gheorghe, will also be fined. FC Dinamo Bucharest does not tolerate such behaviour, any further misbehaviour will be punished even harsher,” the release from FC Dinamo reads.
