Simona Halep – 3rd in WTA rankings

Simona Halep remains on the third place in the world rankings of women professional tennis (WTA) according to the standings released on Monday, by a margin of 176 points against Petra Kvitova. On the first place in the hierarchy is American Serena Williams, followed by Russian Maria Sharapova. Irina Begu dropped one place from last week on the 34^th place, Monica Niculescu is on 68^th and Alexandra Dulgheru is still on 94^th.
