Romanian tennis player Simona Halep is Mercedes-Benz ambassador in Romania, following a long-term partnership, a press release informs. The agreement marks the start of Mercedes-Benz Romania campaign dedicated to the 50th anniversary of AMG, the flagship of German luxury carmaker in terms of sporting performance.
For the first half of 2017, the tennis star chose to drive a Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC Coupe in and then will have at her disposal a series of AMG models during the partnership.
“I’m proud to join Mercedes-Benz team in Romania, a company with an unchallenged record both in providing and promoting excellence, performance and innovation. I’m confident about this incredible experience and I’m delighted to have Mercedes-Benz Romania joining me on this journey,” Halep stated.
“Both Mercedes-Benz Romania and Simona Halep have the same goal – The Best, and in this sens we are pleased to announce the new partnership,” Philipp Hagenburger, Managing Director Passenger Cars and CEO Mercedes-Benz Romania, also said.
