Tennis champion Simona Halep‘s Instagram account has been hacked on Tuesday night. Hackers have posted on her behalf several messages asking her fans to give them money or presenting fake opportunities to earn money.
Simona’s has 1.3 million fans on Instagram.
“Please ignore the hackers who are currently having fun on my Instagram account. We are aware and @instagram are working on it. Hopefully will be solved asap.”
After several hours, the problem was solved, with the Romanian tennis player posting a Twitter message announcing the issue had been solved.
“All cleaned up“, read a post on Halep’s Twitter account later on.
Simona Halep won the Wimbledon trophy on July 13.
