A friendly match vs. Spain in sight, Iordanescu announces
The Romanian national team might play another top match, a friendly against Spain. According to Coach Anghel Iordanescu, the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) is carrying negotiations with the relevant officials for a match against Spain.
“I asked FRF President for strong opponents. I told him I’d wish to play against Italy, Belgium, England, Spain. I see he understood my desire for playing tough matches. I’ve learned negotiations are underway with Spain. I wish we play six matches until the European Championships in France next year,” Iordanescu told digi24.ro on Monday.
The same TV station informs that, if an agreement is reached, the match will take place next spring most probably.
