Swimming: Robert Glinţă – third place at the FINA Champions Swim Series in Budapest

Romanian swimmer Robert Glinţă won the third place in the 50 meters backstroke final, on Sunday, in Budapest, at the FINA Champions Swim Series, organized by the International Swimming Federation.

Glinţă was timed in 24 seconds and 95/100, behind two Americans, Justin Ress, 24 seconds and 68/100, and Matt Grevers, 24 seconds and 88/100.

Russian Kliment Kolesnikov, European champion, recorded 25 seconds and 06/100 and finished on the fourth position.

Robert Glinţă (CS Dinamo) was awarded USD 6,000.

Last month, in Guangzhou (China), in the first round of this circuit (FINA Champions Swim Series), Glinta was second in 50 meters backstroke event, timed in 24 seconds and 59/100, behind Kolesnikov, 24 seconds and 58/100.
