Romania will host the table tennis European Championships for seniors, teams in 2021, the Romanian Table Tennis Federation has announced on Friday.
“Initially, Romania, Portugal and Denmark joined the competition for organizing the European Championships. Portugal withdrew before the World Championship in Budapest. In front of the Board of Directors of the European Table Tennis Federation, Beatrice Romanescu, PR & Marketing FRTM presented the candidacy of Romania, the city proposed for hosting the competition being Cluj-Napoca,” reads the message posted on the federation’s website.
Romania hosted the table tennis European Championships for cadets and juniors in 2018 in Cluj-Napoca.
