Tennis: Simona Halep, 54th week on top of WTA rankings. Monica Niculescu – out of Top 100 after eight years

Romanian tennis player, Simona Halep, is in the 54th week as 1st WTA, having 1,046 points ahead of number 2, Angelique Kerber. On the other hand, another Romanian player, Monica Niculescu, has failed to defend the title in Limoges and thus is out, for the first time in eight years, of Top 100 WTA.
